Good evening, just had a quick question regarding the A.G. Russell Clip Point Blade Sowbelly. I want this knife as an EDC and it appears to meet all of the local laws. For example, blade is single edge, under 4 inches and does not lock open. However, does anyone know if it can be "flicked" open with one hand? As crazy as it sounds, a knife that can be flicked open with one hand is viewed as a gravity knife in my neck of the woods.
Thanks

I think the knife might be a traditional slip joint.
If it is, it won't flip....unless it is seriously damaged.

Check the sales description. AG's writeups are very detailed.

Was curious....checked
It is, indeed, a slipjoint and should be fine

Thank you,

That is what I thought but on youtube there appears to be someone opening up the two bladed sowbelly with one hand. Weird.

I am going for it, thanks.

I am sure you will be happy with it.
AG's stuff is, usually, excellent.
