I am a new member from St. Paul, MN. I have been putting together a collection of edged weapons used or issued in WW2. Much bigger and more expensive project that I had ever dreamed of and that is without getting multiple examples of each maker. I have purchased a couple of reference books and have come to this forum on several occasions for good information.

Good luck on your quest! What reference books have you obtained?

Welcome to the Board, and to the Quest!

"WW-2 edged weapons" is a surprisingly large area.

My best advice is to focus on ONE specific type of knife at a time (e.g. US Navy Mark I's) and expand from there. Otherwise you're likely to wind up in the same predicament as the mosquito that suddenly found itself in the midst of a nudist colony:

You know what you want/need to do, but cannot figure out where to start!
