I have 5 Ray Beers knives (RB) all with serial number #001 dated from 1989 to 1991. 2 are matched sets and the other a beautiful drop point that I designed and had won best knife in show in 1989 at The Hotel Roosevelt Custom Knife Show in New York. Ray was elated and asked me if he could add it to his line. I said yes and it was very successful for him. I recently saw one for sale with serial number #080. I am very proud of this knife. I also did 2 other designs for him which are marked #001. One I currently have on E Bay. I also have 2 Cajun hunters by Jim Mustin, a beautiful drop point from A.J. Collins, another beauty by Wm C Johnson, R.J. Martin and numerous others. Now that I'm getting older, I just worry a little about what's going to happen with them. I'm looking for some feedback on the Ray Beers items.
