I see these are shipping. Can you advise us as to the specs of the prototypes? Is it too early for you to have an opinion about any changes that will be made in the 1st production run later this year?

Mike, as usual, they look Great! I especially like the Hell Fire Burl, Very Nice! These should go over very well.

I noticed you said that the production Mini Rogue will have a smaller bolster, and a lanyard hole. Will the stock be the same thickness? I remember the Grasso Bolo prototypes I had, they were thicker than the production blades. I was wondering if the same would hole true for the Mini Rogue? Not that it matters too much to me, I've liked both the thick and the thin blades.

These aren't your typical "Mini", they're over 8" in length with over a 4" blade. The size isn't a bad thing, it's a good thing. These should be great companion knives. Impressive.

The 25 that are went to Jason will have the Mountain man sheath - Jason had the sheaths in Stock.

Like this:

The 25 that are shipped to Derrick will have a sheath supplied by Derrick - I'm guessing one of his Deep full cover pouches.

Thanks. I ordered mine from KSF. I hope you're wrong, but betting you're right. Have to see what else it will fit.

These are really cool but I have to wait for the production run... work is very slow here right now... my last day worked was the end of 2013 and I have knives on the way that have to be paid for so hopefully things pick up soon!!

Congrats to anyone that can scoop one of these... they seem to be selling fast!!

Mine arrived yesterday, but had to wait to take picture in daylight. This not a review, just initial impressions.

Overall, I like this knife. Big surprise, right? Seems like I like way too many of them.

I was a little apprehensive about the handle being too short, but mine measures 4⅛". A little longer would have been good, but it's fine for my average size hands.

I'm really pleased with the grain/ pattern that came out with the AIM scales. They already look a little aged.

The Rogues are slicers and this ones fits right in to that category. Compact knife, for a ~5" blade. Mine measures 9" OAL and weighs 9.6 ozs.

Came in a KSF South Pacific sheath. Similar to the Mountain Man sheath, except that the back is extended up ~1½" so the the knife rides a little lower. I already gave mine the Obenauf's treatment.

Comp to the Rogue
