He has an ENORMOUS following and having chatted with him he's actually a great guy. His reviews may not be for everybody but when he green lights your product you will make some sales. I can attest to that.

I would have to agree with Jason. His reviews are more of a product showcase which is not at all that bad. He certainly does better than most of the other reviewers on the tube. Sometimes he is off the mark though (like with his recent Sebenza review, - boy did he caught some heat on bladeforums for that one

Wow, lots of TNP bashing, for a reviewer that gave MS 2 thumbs up and probably several orders?

    OK...

I really dont see alot of bashing. I think for the most part the thing is most folks on here are going to buy a product not based on a review that simply shows the knife. I will say the "review" does show the knife from several angles which is nice. Most folks on here when they think of a review want to see actually in use. I have nothing against the guy but just dont base my purchase decession off an indiviuals non use.

I personally like Wako aka "virtuovice" much better when it comes to knife reviews, and he reviews alot of barkies and blackjacks as well as many others.

He provides a "tabletop review" using a specific set of criteria for many knives - and they are not mostly under $100. Using his experience he talks about philosophy of use. Yes it is an opinion that may may miss its mark from time to time.

Being an ex pilot who's devoted much of his life to the military and has spent more time outdoors than most of us, I think he has a valid point of view.

Nutnfancy is not just about knives. He represents a way of life. He doesn't pretend to be an expert but strives for the truth in all things.

If you want to know what this guy's really about, watch his video: Without Rule of Law: "Don't Hasten the Day".

In my mind, Nutnfancy's a hero. Bash him all you want, he can take it.

    I wasn't bashing him.

Just think his tabletop reviews are pretty off on any knife he's done on the higher end, he openly admits to reviewing gear he hasn't used...

I could bash him and pick him apart if you want. Don't know what makes him a hero.

Everyone who has served deserves their respect for that aspect of their life, I did it too.

Doesn't make them an expert in knives. I used to think his stuff was fairly entertaining - after seeing how he treats people at Blade I just decided to quit watching most of his stuff.

In this review, he is reviewing a fighting knife.
I guess he could have went out and sliced some people up for a better review.

Only disagreement I had with this review was that he said it is a collectible and shouldn't be used. Other than that I thought it was well done.

For me...the 1-7 ( Effingham ) was the blade that started it all.
