OK Clay the knives are on their way and should be in your hands by Tuesday...I couldn't bear to wait any longer so I sent them the fast way guaranteed.BTW shipping knives is a drag...Puralator wouldn't take them at all and sent me on my way. UPS did take the though...still if they are knives, they are considered weapons and dangerous. Nonsense! A golf club can be every bit as lethal but they wouldn't even blink an eye if I were sending one or more of those. Oh well. No use ranting...it is what it is!
Can't wait to hear from Clay as he works on these 4 blades.

Cheers
Leo

Just package 'em before you get there, and declare them as 'hand tools' or 'camping tools.' I usually use UPS to ship, since they come with $100 of insurance by default.

Sometimes you really have to wonder, don't you? Maybe we could make being a lawyer a capital offense...

I've had good luck with USPS (post office) for knives, and Fedex for guns.

UPS tracking tells me the package of knives will be in Clay's hands in Monday rather than Tuesday...well done UPS. Here are the knives:
the two on the left are the ESEE-4 and the Fallkniven TK-2

the ESEE-6 with Rosewood Burl handle

and the Fallkniven PXL...both of the Fallkniven knives have blades of 3G Powder Super Steel, while both the ESEE knives have blades of 1095 Carbon Tool Steel

I can't wait to see the comparison between both types of stones on these blades.

Cheers
Leo

Hee,hee, hee! Not likely mate! First of all I like you too much and secondly I am getting too old and too flaming fat to knife fight with anybody! ROTFLMAO! However I can still throw a knife fairly well! LOL!

Wow! Kudos to UPS...they got the parcel there in one day even though I paid for 3 days guaranteed! Clay should have the parcel sometime today! Yahoo!

Thanks Leo for sending the knives in. I've got a few more things to take care of around the office and then I'll start in on 'em.

I've got the stones all cleaned up and ready to go!
