    Anyone know the exact lengths of the gyuto? Whether the 240 or 270 are as is or a little bit shorter like most wa knives tend to be.

    Measurements have been posted several times. They are like most wa-gyutos - the length includes the machi.

    My 24cm AEB-L ITK has a blade length of 240.5mm and an edge length of 229mm.

    Someone with a 27cm will have to answer about theirs.

    For what it worth, I have a picture of wa and yo side by side. The weight difference is 2g, 217.5g on western and 215.5g on wa.
