Update; 2nd in line decided he is too busy to dink around with the knife, so I've tried to contct #3, but he hasn't returned my pt yet. I'm sure he will have done so when I get back to town on Friday night. Till then, I guess I'll keep usin' 'er. I'll have to resharpen to it's toilet paper slicing ability again, but it's not that big of a deal. Catch y'all later.

I fluffed up some arm hair and tried to tree-top it (cut the hair without touching the skin). My efforts were immediately successful.

It's pretty intimidating. You did a good job with that edge.

HehHeh! Those were the words I was waiting to hear! 13* bevel, if you need to shsrpen it, which you jolly well may not have to do. That steel wil go through a lot of cuttimng before you need to touch it up. Don't cut yourself, you will be going to the ER!

    Ytreich,

This is a nice thread. I love my S30v millie design. Although, I am having a very hard to getting it to shave with my EP kit (tapes to 6k). I also am pretty easy on my blade, preferring screaming sharp paper, box, and finger cutting to whittling wood. I wish I could've tested this blade just after you finished it...sounds awesome.

So, do you like the M4 Military the most of the other millie steel offerings? I'm going to buy a PM2 (while waiting for the military 2) of another steel and want the steel the takes the most ridiculous edge first and foremost. I was looking at the blue g10 M390 pm2. This thread caught my eye and has me intrigued. Suggestions?

    thanks...
