Ka-Bar Vintage 1210 Bowie Knife from the 1960s-1970s (Vietnam Era). This is in Excellent condition for its age. Please see link to the pictures. I bought this knife for hiking but it's too beautiful for me to do so.
I need a knife for hiking and utility. This knife is too nice for my intended purpose. I was told by the original seller that this has the Original Knife edge and Original Sheath. The sheath is in excellent condition. No box.
It has a very bright clean blade with a facsimile of Jim Bowie's signature. It measures 13-1/2 inches long with a 8-3/4 inch blade that measures 1-3/4 inches wide at the belly. The red brass crossguard has ball end quillons at both ends and measures 3 inches across. The FIVE small head rivet slab handle is 4-3/4 inches long and 1 inch thick with full tang brown Mahogany Plastic Ka-Wood handle. The Ka-bar ONE-line maker mark is sharp and clear.
The scabbard is the Ka-bar issue scabbard with riveted belt loop. The top cowhide leather scabbard is stamped GENUINE Ka-bar LEATHER.
Gorgeous addition for any collector, prior military serviceman or history buff.
