Caught the first one cleaned it with

cool pictures my friend the bow looks awesome and defintly like the traditional living things and style that goes with it. Leather crafts camp fires hiking and so on. Wondering what knife you carry on you for a traditional camp and how do you start a fire? bow drill? tinder and ferro rod?

One thing I have to say about Matt's blades is, while they look REAL good, they function, period.
I have 7 ML's and use everyone of them. Maine canoe trips, Montana backcountry and many places in between, they function. Maybe that seems like a generic comment to make but that, to me, is what a great knife should do. Heck I can baton with a lawn mower blade, but to use a knife for animal prep and fire prep, to have that blade do fine carving and skinning chores and turn around use that same knife for prying pitch wood, that's a functional knife.
I recently had the pleasure of using his new Trailfighter during a primitive survival course and wow, what a true "survival" knife it turned out to be.
I also appreciate Matt's passion for the outdoors and history in general. It shows in his product.
You can have no better blade on your belt then an ML.
Ed
