--Always tended to stay away from Chris Reeve Knives; however, I went ahead and got myself an Umnumzaan. The knife is quite nice.

    The Raven,

Nice knife, and watch. Not one much for Chris Reeve knives either, they are nice well made pieces but just too rich for my blood.

    What's the watch?

The funny thing about the CR knife is that I can't say I like it anymore than my beloved Benchmade 710 (and the 710 is nearly 1/4 the price).

The watch is my grail watch; it's a royal oak offshore blue scuba.

    TheRaven,

Well, it's like that with most things. Price is never a true indicator of quality, refinement, nor whether or not something will become a favorite.

Sweet watch, not familiar with the brand but a good looking piece.

Just got one of my "grail" pieces the other day, a Subaqua Reserve Specialty GMT......

I received this watch as a gift several years ago...I only wear it on special occasions, like funerals. I never heard of the brand(I'm not much of a watch guy), but it seems to be pretty good quality. I tried to google, but could never find the exact model. Any info or opinions welcome

    likes2watch,

Nice knives and sweet watches bud, real sweet.

    slysir,

I am not sure what the model of Croton you have is or it's particular history but I do know of Croton. They have been around a long time, since around 1878. They currently produce watches in a wide range of prices from very inexpensive all the way to "Too rich for my Blood!" They also produce watches in other brands like Nicolet and Andre Girroud.

I personally only have one Croton, a Vortex Quartz Chrono........

    .......a real nice watch.
