"As they say in Italy, Italians were eating with a knife and fork when the French were still eating each other. The Medici family had to bring their Tuscan cooks up there so they could make something edible"
I was digging through my old desk and found two of my grandfathers knives.
One of them was a Scrade Old Timer 330T.
I think this is a real beautiful knife, and I'm going to buy one new. Ill sharpen this up soon and use it for months, I'm sure. Anyway, here are some pictures of it.
well first schrade was made in walden ny. i grew up there then i moved. and then schrade moved to ellenville which is 10 mins away from where i live now i go to pizza hut there alot untill recently which closed >=0. they moved to china well that sucks
Weren't some Schrades made in Ireland as well? I comment on the current folders but I've heard only good things about the Chinese made fixed - the quality of M in C varies but can be very good - really depends on who's actually doing the quality control. IMO Case slipjoints were always better than Schrade but the Old Timers have their own endearing charm
