    That's a great step by step!

    One note, when using pliers to pull the needles through, be wary of the angle you pull from. I found myself doing stupid things. Lucky I realized my errant ways before I impaled a needle in any body parts. Make sure you pull away from your body. Should be pretty self evident, but I caught myself not paying attention.

    one day later:
    the sheath is dry. I used some sanded paper to smoothen the leather edges and cut the mouth of the sheath to fit parallel to the birch bark spacers. Looks better this way.

    Then I used some beeswax shoepolish to finish the leather.

    The knife sheathes with a "klick" and is held securely.
