Looking for imput on the Al Mar cooking stuff. Where would they stack up with something from Koki's site? Parer, Petty, Santoku, and Gyuto?
Are there two lines in their kitchen models?

Can't get the search function to work for me with under a four letter query.
Great forum with lots of info. Thanks for all the knowledge!

        In response to ADD

They have something like three or four lines of kitchen knives.

I had an Al Mar Ultra Chef's knife with the Cocobolo handle. It was really nice and sometimes I wish I had kept it. It had a really nice damascus cladding pattern and I actually liked the handle. It has a VG-10 core. It would be comparable to the Hattori HD line at jck.com in terms of blade construction and properties. Very nice fit and finish.
