I agree with you especially living in Canada where all push button/switchblades are not allowed. But as you all know there is always someone willing to ship one to ya god love them lol.

    All,

The Switchblade Act of 1958 also makes it illegal to import switchblades into the US - with a very few minor exceptions; one of which allows a one-armed man to import a switchblade.

So this would make it illegal for a company to sell switchblades through the Internet, wouldn't it?

I wonder because Internet sales of auto knives is prolific.

    Hi,
I live in New Jersey and this is my first post.
It would be nice to image auto knives being legal, but it probably will never happen here. In fact, the day will come when some politician will decide to do away with assisted openings, thumb studs and wave features too. A few years back, it was illegal to serve eggs sunny side up or over easy in NJ because a politician said it transmits bacteria. They pulled that silly law and we are now allowed to eat our eggs as we please. However, reversing the automatic knife law may be too much for us to ask for.

    Hmmm...

NYC and LA are not ALL OF America...

Totally true. California is populated with a disproportionate number of commies, queers, illegal aliens, welfare mothers, gangbangers and other types of perverted miscreants. So you may have a slim chance of getting autos legalized in your state. But remember, "The Golden State" is a trend setter and the trends are usually bad and they have a tendency of spreading to the sane parts of the country.
We're not quite as bad as Massachusetts yet, but we're working on it and there's a whole lot more of us!

Here in Oregon, auto's are as legal as ice tea. I carry one eveywhere I go except a few government buildings.

Ditto for Alabama. The only state knife law here prohibits carrying a "Bowie knife", and it doesn't even define the term "Bowie knife." I think it was enacted in the first half of the 19th century.

I ordered a Mikov a few years ago (Czech Republic). It was ordered as a kit, but it arrived with the spring already installed.
