Thank you Marty and Rob! I have done 4 cord braids for lanyards and will give it a try. I have 3 Tilleys to work on.
My Tilleys have a SwissCard and mini Bic in the pocket. Might add some other items.

This water bottle tutorial can be used to make a holder for a guyot bottle too.

That's a good project, thanks for sharing.

I started a bit differently so my Nalgene bottle would stand and used different knots, but otherwise stayed with the tutorial. I used 1/8" Cool Glow Stuff! glow-in-the-dark cord which is similar in size to paracord.

Here's another water bottle holder that can be made with paracord using half hitching/needle hitching . I used about 30 feet of paracord for the half hitching with another foot or so for the cinch cord/cord lock at the start, which makes it removable when you want to clean the bottle.

Boy, if I had a water bottle like that, I would be asking you to make me one!

Looks good.

That was at least 2007 brother! Wow, it's been too long since I've been to NC. I may be teaching a survival course in SC and will let you know. We'll have to find the bottom of a bottle of moonshine again. Long live the cheese wheel!
