Hi folks,

I recently bought a Ranger RD7 Bush model, and I really like the knife. It'll make a fine addition to my car kit.

However, I really dislike the supplied sheath. The knife rattles in the sheath, the velcro retention strap is far too high up to hold the blade securely and, in general, the sheath is poor quality. I'm okay with that, since the knife is such a good value.

What I'd like is an aftermarket sheath for this knife. I'm wide open on style and material and style. Does anybody make one?

Get in touch with the people at Chestnutridge, they make some good sheaths for the RD series knives.

Chestnut ridge knife shop, or on scene tactical for kydex/concealed. I sent mine to Martin Swinkels for a kydex and leather sheath. Check the Ranger Knives forum as well, many members on there make sheaths and Justin Gingrich (Ranger Knives' designer) can offer suggestions too, depending on what features and material you are after.
