Here are a few going to a certain Ranger nut who takes awesome photos, builds great websites and is pretty saavy with the leather. Not metioning any names.
First is the Recurve Chopper. S7 steel at 57Rc, convex grind and edge. Heat treat finish lightly gone over with the scotch brite belt. 14 3/8" OAL, 8" cutting edge, 2 1/2" at its widest point and 5/16" thick. Carbon fiber with blue G10 liners and brass pins and tubes.
Next, the choppers companion. The Bantam Spike. S7 steel at 59Rc, convex grind and edge. Heat treat finish lightly gone over with the scotch brite belt. 8" OAL, 3" cutting edge, 1 1/2" wide, 3/16" thick. Carbon fiber with blue G10 liners and brass pins.
Last is my Dirty Deeds field/camp utility blade. 5160 at 56-58Rc. Convex grind and edge, heat treat finish. 11 3/4" OAL, 6 3/8" cutting edge, 1 5/16" wide and 1/4" thick. Coyote brown G10 fastened with screws and stand offs.
