I am trying to decide between the Field Knife 2 and the 1862 Pattern Bowie.

It will be my "big" hunting knife for when we take our deep woods trips back into the Adirondacks.

    I can't decide!

Both have full tangs and are made of good steel. I'd prefer the FK2 if batoning wood is part of the duties. Lets us know which one you get and do a small review.
