These days I use a cleaver only rarely - but you don't have to go expensive. The one on my 'magnets' I bought for $17AU in Sydney's Chinatown about 25y ago. They still have cleavers there for ~$20AU

I get much more use out of my CCK 1303 Chinese slicer
I'm paranoid only cause everyone's out to get me!

Yep it was all sorted out.

I had to pay import of £21 which isn't too bad really.

The couriers were at fault. They had not notified us of anything, so they were just sitting there with no one knowing where they were at the depot

    love the knives!

I need one more now as I have four retro magnets on the wall. Was thinking of a cleaver? or is there something better to get?

I generally just follow the tracking then phone the depot when I know the item is being held and go and get it. Every time I have got things from Japan or the US it's been Parcelforce. Generally they send me a letter telling me the fees to be paid but it takes about a week for them to do that so it's quicker to get it myself. If you had waited a few more days you would have received the letter I think
