Can anyone provide info on the Schrade Old Timer "little finger"? Is it still being made? If not when was it discontinued?
Also, what blade steel was used?
Any info would be appreciated--I know where to find one,but I know very little about the knife and the Schrade site doesn't list it.

Sorry i sure don't know if it's still being made or not today, but i see them for sale still from dealers. I have a used one i never use anymore, it has a carbon steel blade, maybe 1085 or O1? Email me if your looking for a used one in good shape for cheap ($15 shipped)?

James, thanks for the info on the "little finger" and the offer on the used one you have. The reason I wanted the info is because I have been offered a "like new" little finger--but I knew very little about this particular model.

Little Finger or Sharp Finger?
I've had a Sharp Finger for around 20 years. Cleaned a mountain of fish with it, cut bait too. I think it is 1095 steel. It developed a nice patina which I polished off convexing the edge on my HoodooHone.
$15? Jump on it
Just say NO to knife abuse.

Ebbtide, it was called a "little finger" - model 1560t. Distinctly different from the still available "sharp finger". The blade is only about 2&3/4 inches and has a slight drop point. I've been able to find out from other sources that it is now out of production and has been for several years. It was first offered at about the sametime as the "sharp finger" was first available.
Thanks for the offer on the "sharp finger" but I've bought the "little finger" already. Looks to be a great small game and/or caping knive.
