About a half a year ago, I ruined a custom sheath for a knife by getting it wet and drying it quickly. It was totally my stupidity. I contacted the sheath maker about getting a replacement sheath. Again, it was my bad, not their work.

The maker replied... but I decided to put the knife aside. A couple of months later, I traded it to a fellow who had a sheath that fit it. End of story?

Today, a replacement sheath showed up in the mail. Free of charge. The maker had put my request into his backlog and gotten to it as he could.

Not many folks these days have that kind of follow-through, not to mention that kind of customer service and attention to detail.

So, a big THANKS and KUDOS to Dan of JRE Industries.

This is the best sheath-I-do-not-have-a-kn ife-for ever...
