Funny you'd say that FB, an old friend of mine, who worked like a elephant, but was the kind of fella who just never seemed to turn the corner work 2 jobs pay off his bills, then got a tax notice, used to wear a painters hat that said:

"Bah, Humbug!"

He was proud to wear it.

Isn't it usually customary to wish a happy birthday to someone, on their birthday?

Dec. 25th IS NOT CHRIST’s birthday!

Excellent, someone finally knows the answer to a question that folks have been arguing about for 1700 years. Please don't keep the rest of us in suspense any longer, Sam. What's the true date?

Natch, is that a hint of sarcasm I detect in your poorly adorned cloak of righteousness?

If your extensive studies haven’t shown you the truth about Christ birth yet? Then there isn’t a stick big enough to hit you with that could convince you otherwise. Sorry for your luck.

My studies indicate that December 25 is close enough for practical purposes, could even be the real date, but that would probably be a coincidence. The church ignored this question for hundreds of years as irrelevant. Jesus may not have had a birthday party until the church came up with one but He seems to have turned out pretty well anyway.

Actually, and I've posted it before, a researcher did a regression on the yrs a particular comet passed by Earth, and Christ's Year of Birth:

Thanks for reposting that link fixer.

Another thing that talks about that time from a scientific view point is a movie called "the star of Bethlehem"

http://www.bethlehemstar.net/

They use a computer program that tracks the stars to turn back the clock so you can see the nights sky as they did thousands of years ago. As well as show you the events in the sky as described in the bible.

It's pretty cool.
